DJ Beatmeyer

Not long ago my brother told me that our parents thought it was pretty strange that I wanted to have a DJ-Turntable for Christmas when I was 13 years old. A Turntable, a relict of the past. But my siblings told them that it’s not an “ancient hardware”.

With my first DJ-Tool Vinyl I started to spin the records. At first it was a slow process, because I simply knew nobody with the same hobby. But as years went by I made a lot connections and many projects started. At first some Hip Hop and Rap stuff, then Jams and Partys and furthermore the joy of Jungle, Reggae, Dancehall, Big Beat, Funk Rock’n'Roll, Drum’n'Bass and the artistic arranging of this music styles. We presented these cultural assets through Partys and first of all the Manianight. A Festival that started in 2001 with the help of three friends and continued over four years. In the next years the network grew in many directions..

We like that and hope you enjoy this fine selection of tunes. [...]
