Heute ein EQ Tip.. und zwar einer für alle Hausarbeiten innerhalb eurer DAW? Matthew Lindsay NCL-EQ ist ein 10 bandiger parametrischer high quality EQ..
.. Matthew schreibt zu seinem EQ:
“It’s designed to be clean, precise and to minimise digital artifacts such as frequency warping. Uses include mixing, tracking, and mastering.”
Der NCL-EQ hat folgende
Merkmale:
- 64 bit internal precision.
- Oversampling of the high bands.
- Selectable filter types.
- AB to quickly compare settings.
- Adjustable meter ballistics.
& auch key commandos:
- Control left click zeros gain controls.
- Holding alt increases knob stiffness.
- Holding shift allows fine tuning of the frequency control in steps of 100 Hz.
- Holding shift+tab allows fine tuning of frequency in 1 Hz steps
Sehr gut ist bei dem NCL-EQ, das er verschiedene Filtertypen pro Band bereitstellt. Das macht den NCL wirklich zu einem allrounder.. kaum eine Anwendung die der NCL somit nicht bewältigen könnte. Matthew hat auch keine direkten Werteangaben bei den Reglern Frequenz, Filtergüte und Gain programmiert. Warum bloß?.. Vielleicht damit wir Augentiere mal mehr nach Gehör mischen.
Der NCL EQ ist mit Synthedit zusammengebaut worden, aber der Code ist in C++ geschrieben wurde.. word!
